Isn’t it lovely how, sometimes, even the toughest of us struggle so hard to hold back tears from falling down and laughter from bursting out? Our vulnerability differs in extent and frequency, but all of us are permeable and maybe we can even allow ourselves to say that all of us are vulnerable. No matter how much we are able to withhold, to restrict, sometimes we just can’t physically stop our own tears from flowing, or quiet ourselves from erupting loudly with laughter. All reactions can be tuned down, or we can learn how to control them, except for these two. And isn’t that just nice? For as long as you sit with that thought, and it mostly likely will be just for a moment, it feels so primitive and simple to see that we are all the same.
