When you consider that we live on a planet that is only one out of billions of planets, when you remember that life in its’ entirety and time with it’s relativity is so evolutionary and fleeting, do you really think that what you are hesitant about doing in your life is worth the hesitance and fear?
Here we are, a rare breed and the only breed with immense consciousness, with “soul”, with a language that when spoken can grant or deprive things as big as freedom. We have so much power! Yet we cower at the thought of failure because we give ourselves higher importance than is ‘scientifically proven’.
We give importance to material things that confine our minds and bodies and we forget that our divine achievements lie within this thing we call a soul that we have to feed to have a spiritually rich and useful existence.
Your Earth and mine are radiated by a star out of gazillions of others. In your gutsy soul you have that switch to reflect that light. Don’t waste it living in a black hole where time has a whole other meaning.
We are exceptionally unique, each with an electromagnetic signature never repeated twice in the history of humans. Let’s not give that uniqueness more than its’ due attention though, because rather than lift us higher, I feel that it also cripples us. We begin to set such high standards for ourselves. We feel guilty if we don’t ‘think positive’ and we feel self-destructive if we don’t achieve what we bucket-listed.
Sometimes it’s comforting to remember that we are also pretty teeny tiny. Our problems are so very petty and small relative to the universe. Our fear of failure is uncalled for.
So, go ahead. Do that thing you dream of doing. Do whatever you want to do. And if you must, fail! No one cares.
